Jakob Ortmann is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Ethics and Law of the Life Sciences (CELLS) since 2024. His focus is on ethical and epistemological questions in the development and application of models in the public sector, such as economic models for combating climate change or epidemiological models. Previously, he studied Philosophy of Science for his Master's at the University of Cambridge and Philosophy and Economics for his Bachelor's at the University of Bayreuth.
